  1. OK, we knew who the unsub was out of the box. Again. But wow, the twists and turns of this episode were just amazing. I'm thinking "this isn't this good", and the BOOM! Another twist. And when Tommy opened the door, I went OMG!! WTH!! And it just went spinning from there. Janine did a great job!

And the Garcia/Kevin thing was funny and touching and heartbreaking.

All in all, a definite keeper!!

  2. Best episode EVER in my opinion!! Can't wait to see what happens with Garcia and Kevin! I love them both, but I would MUCH RATHER see JJ and Will get married then them, JJ and Will deserve it more. They have a kid, they've been together for so long, I think its time.(:

  3. Awww, Garcia is breaking Kevin's little heart!! They're so cute together!! I don't blame her, in one way, but in another...

CREEPY UnSub! EWE!! I like how Reid said that she likely wouldn't have been released if she hadn't been attractive. Good comment on how skrewed society is.

  4. I'm sorry but is anyone upset that there is like 0 Prentiss in this episode? As extremely hard as it is for me to say, I almost wish she never came back. The whole season I have held my breath for something substantial but continually let down, even her own "centric" episode didn't do it for me. It is more torturous to only have a glimpse of her than nothing at all! It is like CBS brought her back because of the fan uproar but kept it that she was going to have reduced screen time. A complete waste of talent!!! I will continue to watch as the show is good but saddens me the turn it has taken.

  5. In response to Anonymous above ^^

I completely agree with everything you have just written, I was soooo excited that Prentiss was coming back this Season but other than the excitement of the first episode there really hasn't been any interest for me either... Prentiss is a brilliant character and you'd think after everything that happened we'd see a bit more of the character, not less... as much as its hard to admit but yes it has been torturous having her back waiting for a moment for her to shine and it never happening! I agree on the screen time, my thoughts exactly definitely a wast of talent.

As much as I am going to miss Paget when she leaves the show I just hope her future endeavours shows us that Talent that CBS has taken from us this season. I still look forward to each episode of this show and watch them with excitement and I hope to do so even with Paget gone because the show is generally amazing... I just miss our kick arse tough girl Prentiss, I hope Season Eight proves to be less of a dissapointment going in knowing that Prentiss will not be there.

  6. I was actually pleasantly surprised. This is what I have come to expect from Janine Sherman Barrois. Wall to wall unsub with a few insignificant moments of the team. No focus on the victims. Cameras showing the most vivid and in your face angle of the violence. The only saving grace being admittedly good characterization in an isolated scene between team members. But, while I wouldn't call this the best episode or even a great one, it actually avoided some things that annoy me with her episodes and included some things I tend to love in episodes. First, even though there was quite a bit of the unsub, it didn't feel like the main cast spent most of the shooting of the episode on vacation. I liked that they showed JJ and Prentiss talking to the daughter. From what I recall, although I tend to zone out during unsub scenes, the violence wasn't in your face. I liked Morgan talking to Tommy at the end, given what we know about his past. And, Julie was great.

About the Kevin and Garcia plot, I thought it was well handled and emotionally but realistically messy without feeling the need to hurry up and fix everything.

I did find the tone of the conversation when the team was walking into the BAU after the case to be strangely flippant given the subject. I don't know, just the way JJ said she didn't get the whole teacher/student thing and that grown men were trouble enough. It sounded like she could have said she didn't get liking any particular category of grown men and that teachers who get involved with their students just have weird taste.

  7. Janine's eps are so compelling. This was up there with her last one "Bittersweat science." Her episodes have heart and you really feel for the characters. Great stuff.

  8. I love Teri Polo. She was amazing. Love her from Meet the Fockers.

  9. Okay, my favorite scene was making that woman take off the dress and then wind up wearing it herself. Stop the train. I couldn't believe that. Then she had the nerve to act like it took her forever to find it. Hilarious. She killed a woman for a dress.

  10. No offense to anybody, I just don't like Janine's episodes. I also completely agree with SmileyGighet's and the Anonymous' comments on Emily. The best seasons for Emily were seasons 4 and 5, IMO (I also liked the Doyle arc very much). She had some very nice moments in this season but generally her character has been used a lot less and insignificantly then any seasons before. We barely see her especially in Jenine's episodes and it's 3 times in a row now. I love Paget and it will be so hard to see her go... I truly hope she finds another job soon so we get to see her next season.

  11. Wow...I Love Janine Barrois' episode they are always clever and they are multi dimensional. Her episodes actually always seem to give the others writers stuff to expound upon. They are always so cutting edge. And full of fun facts that I always love to go look up. She does't dumb down her writing like most writers do in television - that can be so annoying. She actually respects the viewer Thats what I like about her episodes. And she gives the characters space to create. Wonderful - "I love you Tommy Brown" was one of the best.

  12. Was the title based on a Charlie Brown episode or was it based on that old song called "I love you Charlie Brown?"

  13. The kid in this ep who played the boyfriend was so good. I loved the little girl who came over and asked him to the prom.

  14. Yeah I liked that girl too. that was awesome. (The girl who came over to stop Tommy from leaving) was more mature than the teacher.  She would huff and puff and act like a cheerleader. Hilarious.

  16. Did anyone else hear a narration for the blind with this episode? I recorded it on two separate tv's and got some voice in the background narrating the actions of the characters. And it was only with this episode. I put another channel on and it wasn't there. Are the tv's in my house just weird?

  18. I did like the episode, so far my favorite from Janine. The unsub was interesting, the subject not easy to deal with. Love the Garcia and Kevin moments. I think Garcia will have a change of heart and will marry Kevin.
