  1. Neither one of these promo's give me hope that this will be a good episode. Reworked previous case and too much Morgan/Garcia.... JJ's apparently fine and going nuts being home with Will and Henry???? *yawn*...

But the couple of unsubs from the promo video look nice...

  3. Hopefully most of the episode will actually be back to being Criminal Minds and it isn't too much Days of Our Criminal Lives or Alias Jennifer Jareau. I really want some proper edge of my seat suspense - it;s been far too long since we had any.

  4. Wow! There are some really tough critics out there! I read the reviews for 200, and was surprised by the negative and critical remarks. I guess I'm a little different; when I like a show, I like it for what it is: entertainment, and in Criminal Mind's case, a learning opportunity at the same time. I don't expect everything that happens on the show to be based on what could, would, or should happen in the real world. I watch Criminal Minds because I love all of the actors, enjoy how they interpret their characters and bring them to life, and I especially like seeing them all together as a family, any way that happens. I enjoy the stories written by the excellent writers, and I especially enjoy all of the BTS access we're granted through the various Social Media outlets such as this one. It makes me appreciate the entire process of what it takes to put such a great show together, from the consultants, to the writers, to the crew, and finally to the cast. I for one hope this show continues on for many years to come, and I'll be there for every episode.

    1. I think as a Day One fan I simply cannot ignore the continuity gaffes, the abrupt changes in some of the characters, the occasional implausible storylines and above all when there is a lack of the profiling and suspense which makes this a unique and standout show. I love this show and will always watch but I simply have to criticise if I feel it warrants it. I cannot just watch the good, the bad and the ugly without comment, Believe me, I will as soon praise the excellent episodes (and there have been many) as criticise the less successful ones.

    2. I used to watch the entire episodes back in the early days, withouth even thinking about pressing the FWD button. I used to like the show because it was a serialised depiction of criminal behaviour, and the way people work to catch them. There were glimpses of non-related case story lines, but the element of suspense and thinking ahead of a criminal were prominent along the earlier seasons. Then, somewhere along the way things changed. That is ok, because obviously changes happen in any life, but what I strongly dislike is that more and more the case is shown as irrelevant and easy to break after a bunch of standard lines even I memorised and the predictable action of Garcia finding something in her databases to send the team back home. Only in a few ocasions we didn't know about the unsub until the last segment. Right now, we already know the ones in this case, and the show isn't even on yet. I personally don't understand why some viewers like the 'family' moments, For me, the people who you work with are your colleagues, your family is your family, and your friends are your friends, In my work I have to state where I'm heading when I go away from the headquarters and the time I am suppose to be back, so they can have a hint on when and where to look for me if I have an accident, and still I don't consider my colleagues as family. Some are my friends now, and some aren't. For me, it is highly unrealistic the amount of time CM tries to portrait the image of a family in the work environment. It looks like a copy of NCIS. And finally, I can't stand those scenes in which romance is portrayed, I don't care who dates who, no matter if that's Garcia, Morgan, Hotch, Reid, Blake, JJ or Rossi. Since season seven all characters have gone under that line. And now in the Internet news this episode is promoted as 'Garcia's love crisis'. Is that Criminal Minds? Because it seriously looks as a soap opera, and I already have a bunch of others shows to choose from if I would like to migrate to those lands. And sorry about the lenght.
