CRIMINAL MINDS Season 7 - 708. Hope - Garcia Leans on Morgan During... SPOILER!
Next Wednesday, Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) will find herself front and center on a case that will push her psyche to the limits as a friend of hers (Brigid Brannagh) goes missing. And as Vangsness previews, the horrific event will bring Garcia even closer to her BAU bestie, Morgan. “I think that he and J.J. are there the whole time, but she can totally be who she is around him,” says Vangsness. “When she gets crazy, he is the giver of that support she needs. When she is about to completely crack, he’s the one giving the tough love. He’s the one who comes to her when he thinks there’s something wrong.”

While I love the relationship Garcia has with Morgan, as it is, and find it fitting that he'd play a part in this, I was much more interested in the part about JJ being there the whole time as well. I mean, they have such a special relationship. And, I've been hoping for some JJ and Garcia interaction this season. Meaningful interaction. I hope that we get that this episode. Not just JJ physically being there, but along with Morgan, actually talking to Garcia.
ReplyDeleteI really wish they didn't give the impression that JJ and Garcia are closer than any of them and Prentiss. I get that they have known each other longer but, it makes Emily seem inhuman. I feel like Prentiss is always left out when involving JJ/Garcia and there history.
ReplyDeleteSo I can't wait to see what they do.
:)
I`m looking forward to see JJ and Morgan working together. The writers have neglected JJ/Morgan scenes since the beginning of the show.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I love both the Morgan and the Garcia characters I wish each Garcia episode didn't revolve aroend the two of them. These episodes tend to infantalize the Garcia character. She should be able to relate to the rest of the team as well. I hope we see some growth in her character.
