I disagree with the article. But, since she is a profiler, I hope they don't forget JJ's ability to work with the families. Having a rapport with families would surely help with victimology, which is one of the basic components to profiling. NOT that the liaison job should be seen solely for how it can help you if you become a profiler, because it's a unique and equally important job in its own right. But, again, since she did make the change, if some of the liaison skills she trained for might be helpful in her new job sometimes that would be nice and complimentary to the 5 years her character was essential and was equal to the rest of the team before the change.
