Mandy Patinkin receives Prince Rainier III Award

Last Fall, Mandy was awarded the Prince Rainier III Award for his outstanding contribution to the arts at the Princess Grace Awards Gala. The Princess Grace Foundation-USA hosts the event and presents Princess Grace Awards to emerging artists in theater, dance and film, as well as two awards to artists who have shown achievement and growth in their respective fields. Every year, the Princess Grace Foundation-USA awards these grants at its annual Awards Gala to support its mission of providing support to emerging artists in America. The Gala took place in the presence of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, pictured with Mandy above.

CRIMINAL MINDS: MATTHEW GRAY GUBLER DIRECTING!

It looks like Matthew Gray Gubler has been hard at work this past week scouting locations and getting ready to direct an episode of "Criminal Minds". In this picture (borrowed from GUBLERNATION's Twitter post) Matthew tweets that he is "Location scouting crematoriums". The episode that Matthew is directing is scheduled to air on March 3, 2010 at 9:00pm on CBS. With Matthew's great artistic vision and love for the macabre, I am sure this will be a great episode to watch!
